Chirac en correctionnelle
La République face à la tentation régicide

Si l’affaire finit par s’inviter au prétoire, ce serait, certes, une grande première dans l’histoire politique de la République française mais il n’y aurait rien d’étonnant à cela.
Car, quoi d’étonnant de la part d’un pays qui a déjà décapité son roi, en la personne de Louis XVI, guillotiné le 21 janvier 1793 ? Et quand on pense qu’il s’agissait à l’époque d’un personnage sacré détenteur d’un pouvoir de droit divin, on comprend qu’envoyer en correctionnelle un homme politique, fût-il un ancien chef d’Etat, n’a rien de sacrilège.
L’affaire Chirac aura-t-elle lieu ? Tous les regards sont tournés ce matin vers le parquet pour savoir s’il va interjeter appel pour un non-lieu.
En attendant, ceux des Africains qui aiment bien Chirac, malgré les méchancetés qu’il a dites à son temps sur nos odeurs et nos saveurs exotiques, ont comme une envie de crier : « Laissez le frère Jacques tranquille » ! Car, quoi qu’on puisse dire, il a quand même bien mérité de son pays et de bien d’autres.

La décision est tombée,Chirac ira bel et bien en correctionelle car la cour d appel a décidé de ne pas faire appel.Le pévenu interrogé ce soir sur France 2 s il ira répondre devant le tribunal sur les faits qui lui sont reprochés ,il répond"Biensur que j irai personnellement au tribunal répondre.J ai confiance à la justice de mon pays.je suis un citoyen comme les autres.Je ne veux pas de clémence ni intervention qui puisse influencer la décision de la justice.je crois en la justice de mon pays".Donc wait en see !
